Traveling to Newport Beach, CA - Costa Mesa, Ca right after Thanksgiving on business trip from New York?
What kind of clothing should I pack? Is it warm enough to swim in the hotel pool or the ocean? What areas are recommeded and what areas should I avoid? Thanks everyone!

for sure stop in Hollywood and downtown los angeles or why visit so cal at all......... the weather is great for sure

we usually have good weather until christmas. it's been a little cold here at night, and early morning. bring a sweat shirt, or light to medium weight jacket just in case. no bad areas to avoid any where near newport beach, or costa mesa. pools are usually heated, the ocean is always freezing, but on a hot day it is welcoming. ask the front desk clerks about tours, boat tours to catalina island, theme parks, and other attractions. enjoy, and in advance, welcome to southern california. you're going to love it here.

Wednesday and Thursday was in the 90's. Today, Friday, it was in the 60's. So its anybody's guess.
